About me

I have always been passionate about cultures and languages but it was after becoming a mama when it grew exponentially!  I guess I was excited to show my niños how the world can be “shining, shimmering and splendid.”  🙂

This blog is the journey on raising bilingual and multicultural niños, my experiences serving the Hispanic community and my love for the culture, traditions and heritage of Ecuador.

When I am not singing ‘el mono Salomón with my toddler, I work as an interpreter, translator and cultural affairs support staff of my local government. I am a Spanish teacher, too.

Feel free to email to: emailhispanicmama[at] gmail [dot] com.

I would love to hear from you!
